Proxy Integration With CapSolver

CapSolver lets you add proxies, such as Oxylabs Residential and Datacenter Proxies, to help bypass CAPTCHAs when web scraping, managing accounts, or accessing geo-restricted content.

Proxy Integration With CapSolver

What is CapSolver?

CapSolver is an automated CAPTCHA solver that offers a wide range of CAPTCHA recognition services, including reCAPTCHA, FunCaptcha, hCaptcha, ImageToText, and more. It’s powered by machine learning and provides both an API and a code-free browser extension to help you bypass "I'm not a robot" checks on websites.

Getting started

Go to the CapSolver website, create an account, and get an API key.

NOTE: Use your key to enable CapSolver’s functionality using both the API and browser extension.

How to set up proxies with CapSolver?

1. Open the browser extension, input your API key, and select your CAPTCHA handling preferences.

2. Scroll down and specify the following details for Oxylabs proxies.

Residential Proxies

Type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5

Host: pr.oxylabs.io

Port: 7777

You can also use country-specific entries. For example, entering us-pr.oxylabs.io under Host and 10000 under Port will acquire a US exit node. Check our documentation for a complete list of country-specific entry nodes or if you need a sticky session.

Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies

Specify the following if you purchased Dedicated Datacenter Proxies via sales.

Type: HTTP or SOCKS5

Host: 1.2.3.4 (a specific IP address)

Port: 60000

For Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, choose an IP address from the acquired list.

Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies

Specify the following if you purchased Dedicated Datacenter Proxies via the dashboard.

Type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5

Host: ddc.oxylabs.io

Port: 8001

For Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, the port indicates the sequential number of an IP address from the acquired list.

Datacenter Proxies

Type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5

Host: dc.oxylabs.io

Port: 8001

For the Pay-per-IP subscription, the port corresponds to the sequential number assigned to an IP address from the provided list. Hence, port 8001 uses the first IP address on your list. See our documentation for further details.

For the Pay-per-traffic subscription, port 8001 randomly selects an IP address but remains consistent throughout a session. You can also specify geo-location, such as the US, in the user authentication string: user-USERNAME-country-US:PASSWORD. For more details, please see our documentation.

ISP Proxies

Type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5

Host: isp.oxylabs.io

Port: 8001

Integrating Residential Proxies

Integrating Residential Proxies

3. Enter your Oxylabs proxy user’s credentials. Use the same username and password you entered to create a new proxy user in the Oxylabs dashboard.

4. To integrate proxies through an API, follow the official guidelines and specify proxy details (Residential Proxies as an example).

Proxy format #1:

"proxyType": "http/https/socks5",
"proxyAddress": "pr.oxylabs.io",
"proxyPort": 7777,
"proxyLogin": "Oxylabs proxy user's name",
"proxyPassword": "Oxylabs proxy user's password",

Proxy format #2:

//With the proxy type
"proxy": "socks5:pr.oxylabs.io:7777:username:password",
//Without the proxy type
"proxy": "pr.oxylabs.io:7777:username:password",

You’re now ready to handle any CAPTCHA automatically while completing your tasks without interruptions.
