This tutorial showcases how to integrate Oxylabs Dedicated Datacenter Proxies with the Sphere private browser on Windows (the process on Mac OS and Linux is identical to the one described below).
What is Sphere?
Sphere is a free Chromium core based anti-detection browser for managing multiple identities and protecting your digital fingerprint. Each browsing session automatically changes or encrypts (using the most trusted AES-256 encryption) the entirety of detectable data shared by your computer under the guise of a disposable virtual identity.
Naturally, on top of all the aforementioned security measures, the browser allows you to change and rotate your IP address. Geo-location change is an essential measure in ensuring anonymity.
How to set up proxies with Sphere?
The portable format allows you to use the browser without installation. You can easily run Sphere from an external drive or a private section of your computer.
Navigate to the official website and download the Sphere browser.
Extract the downloaded files to a preferred location.
Click Sphere.exe and run the program.
Set up your account with a password-only login.
Now, let’s configure a new identity.
Once on the home screen, click on a new identity.

Note that Sphere requires a numerical connection IP. Therefore, this integration showcases Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies as you can acquire a proxy list and use the listed IPs one by one instead of a random IP address provided by a common (alphabetic) address.
2. In the Session setup window, fill in the identity name and choose your connection type, such as Tor, HTTP, SOCKS5, or SSH Tunnel.

IP: a specific IP address (e.g., 1.2.3.4)
Port: 60000

3. Enter your Oxylabs sub-user’s username and password. You can create and manage your proxy sub-users with our all-in-one dashboard.

4. Detail the Timezone and language settings and click Save.
The new identity is now set up. Keep in mind that you can import and export your identities by clicking Identity import/Identity export under Tools.

And that’s it. You can multitask without the fear of being interrupted or blocked. Browser instances (tabs) will be viewed as separate devices and browsers originating from different locations.
