As we’re updating or releasing new solutions, one of our key goals remains to provide you with efficient problem-solving products effectively priced for all respective needs. As such, we’re introducing a hassle-free way to access our Mobile Proxies: through self-service.

For you, as a user, this may be of particular interest because self-service and the Pay as you go option in it creates a no-commitment, seamless integration option.

Also, there are numerous cases where Mobile Proxies features are crucial for project success. These features include the availability of 20M+ mobile IPs worldwide, continent, country, state, city, coordinate, and ASN targeting with no extra cost, 5G/4G/3G cellular networks, and proxies procured from various sources using real mobile devices adhering to the highest ethical standards. Therefore, making Mobile Proxies more easily accessible is critical.

So, self-service for Mobile Proxies is meant to give you a more flexible plan, but how does it do so?

Pay as you go

Pay as you go is one of the currently available self-service plans for Mobile Proxies. This plan's main feature is to allow you to pay based on the amount of traffic you use while gathering public data. Your top-ups can start with as little as 1 GB without committing to test out what’s the right amount of data for you. After a month of usage, the limit will go back to 0. Note, if you expect your scraping needs to extend beyond 30 GB of traffic per month, we recommend getting an upgrade and switching to a subscription, as that is the more monetarily efficient choice.

Key Pay as you go features

  • Available for Mobile Proxies

  • Price – $9 per GB

  • Minimum amount per top-up – 1 GB

  • Maximum top-up amount per month – 30 GB

  • All features from other plans are available here as well

How do I purchase Mobile Proxies through self-service?

The steps are quick and easy. Simply go to our dashboard, register if you don’t already have an account, choose Mobile Proxies, and pick the Pay as you go option, that’s it!

New pricing plans for Regular and Enterprise subscriptions

Excluding the introduction of self-service, we’ve also made changes to our Regular and Enterprise subscriptions. All plans, from Starter to Enterprise, have been reconfigured giving your more options to choose from without any reductions to GB availability.

Straightforward integration

As mentioned within the purchasing section, the first step is to have/create a dashboard account. Although if you’d like to choose a plan different from Pay as you go, please contact our customer support.

After purchasing, a pop-up will appear asking you to create a new proxy user. Do so, and remember that you can also create more user accounts on the dashboards. Once you’re done, you can do a test run request to https://ip.oxylabs.io/location from a random location through our backconnect entry. Make a request using cURL like this one: curl -x pr.oxylabs.io:7777 -U "customer-USERNAME:PASSWORD" https://ip.oxylabs.io/location, but simply replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with your proxy user credentials. Crucially, though, don't forget to keep the customer- before your username, as the request won’t work without it. And that's it! There may be more steps for complex requests, but a basic one requires no effort.

Wrapping up

Take advantage of our new plan and existing subscription price reduction to elevate your business to the next level. And as always, if you have any questions, we’re always available through our 24/7 customer support and live chat on our website.
