Hence, this guide will show you how to set up Oxylabs’ Residential Proxies and Datacenter Proxies with Genlogin.

As security protection is the focus of this tool, Genlogin allows you to control browser fingerprint details. These include IP addresses, browser settings, cookies, and much more, adding a layer of privacy for surfing the web.

How to set up proxies on Genlogin
When it comes to proxies, it’s best to use a paid proxy server instead of a free proxy. Follow the steps below to learn how you can integrate Oxylabs’ proxies with Genlogin.
1. Download Genlogin from the official website and install it on your Windows or macOS device. After installation, log in to your Genlogin account or create a free one.
2. Next, create a new profile by clicking Create Profile at the top-left corner of the Genlogin homepage. Enter the name for your profile and then select the Your proxy option.

3. A new tab will appear where you can enter your proxy details. For instance, you can set up Residential Proxies as shown below.
Residential Proxies
Type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5
Host: pr.oxylabs.io
Port: 7777
You can also connect to country-specific nodes. For example, use fr-pr.oxylabs.io as the Host and 40000 as the Port to get a French exit node. Check our documentation for a full list of country nodes or for sticky session details.
Residential Proxies configuration
Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies
If you've obtained Dedicated Datacenter Proxies through sales, use the following settings:
Type: HTTP or SOCKS5
Host: a specific IP address (e.g., 1.2.3.4)
Port: 60000
You’ll have to choose an IP address from the provided proxy list. See our documentation for further details.
Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies
For Dedicated Datacenter Proxies purchased via the dashboard, configure as shown below:
Type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5
Host: ddc.oxylabs.io
Port: 8001
Since the Port corresponds to the IP sequence from your list, you’ll need to use a different port number in order to access different proxy IPs from your list. Find more information in our documentation.
Shared Datacenter Proxies
Type: HTTP
Host: dc.pr.oxylabs.io
Port: 10000
Country-specific nodes are also available for Shared Datacenter Proxies. For instance, using dc.fr-pr.oxylabs.io as the Host and 42000 as the Port gives you a French exit node. Consult our documentation for a list of country-specific nodes.
4. Test your proxy connection by clicking Check proxy.

In case you receive an error, such as “Cannot check this proxy…”, Genlogin offers a way to change the IP checker service to a different one.

5. If everything works fine, you can save your proxy settings and finalize the browser profile by pressing Create profile.
