We’re thrilled to share that Oxylabs has been nominated at the 29th Annual Webby Awards for its innovative solution, OxyCopilot – the industry’s first AI-driven scraping assistant. This recognition in the Apps & Software – Developer Tools category, comes from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the organization behind one of the most prestigious honors in the digital world.
The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Established in 1996 during the web’s early days, the Webby has become a global benchmark for digital achievement. Hailed by The New York Times as the “Internet’s highest honor,” the awards spotlight outstanding work across websites, apps, video, advertising, and beyond.
Being selected as a Nominee means OxyCopilot is among the top 12% of the nearly 13,000 entries submitted this year. It also means we're now in the running for the two most coveted awards in the digital world: The Webby Award, selected by members of IADAS, and The Webby People’s Voice Award, decided by public vote.
Nominees like Oxylabs are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet. It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 13,000 entries we received this year.
Nick Borenstein, General Manager of The Webby Awards
In 2024 Oxylabs introduced a new AI-driven solution, OxyCopilot, the first-ever AI copilot for building web scrapers, that is designed to help its users save time and money spent on complex web data acquisition tasks. This AI-powered assistant for scraping is a part of Oxylabs’ Web Scraper API, an all-in-one public web data collection platform.
Built on a combination of AI and proprietary Oxylabs’ technology, OxyCopilot enables both web scraping professionals and those who have little experience in public web data collection to generate instant parsing instructions and requests for the Web Scraper API using nothing more than a URL and natural language prompts.
We are honored to be recognized by the Webby Awards. This nomination is a proud moment for Oxylabs and a reflection of the entire team’s hard work and commitment to innovation. Together, we’re continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in public web data collection and making advanced technologies more accessible to businesses worldwide.
Julius Černiauskas, CEO of Oxylabs
As a nominee, OxyCopilot is eligible for the Webby People’s Voice Award, where the public decides the winner – and your vote can make all the difference. Cast your vote now at vote.webbyawards.com. Voting is open until April 17, 2025. Winners will be announced on May 12th, during a star-studded awards ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street, where recipients will deliver the Webby Awards' iconic 5-word speeches.
