Setting up Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies
1. Register and create a product instance
Go to the Oxylabs Dashboard and create an account. Then, click + Add product instance, select Datacenter proxies, set an instance name, and choose the Pay per dedicated IPs type:
Set up the IP locations and choose the number of IPs for each location.
Continuing with no chosen locations will assign IPs randomly. Finish by configuring your authentication settings, and click Create instance.
2. Get instance credentials
First, open your new Dedicated Datacenter Proxies instance in the dashboard home section. Then, look for your new proxy instance credentials at the top of the overview: username and password. These credentials are your access to the IPs.
3. Run a request
After completion, you can now form and run your first cURL request in a terminal or any other setup to test Dedicated Datacenter Proxies. Let’s send a query to https://ip.oxylabs.io/location using the first proxy in your list by indicating port 8001:

4. Get your proxy list
You can access your proxy list by opening your Dedicated Datacenter Proxies product instance and selecting Proxy List tab.

Proxy rotation
By default, we don’t rotate Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, so you can have unlimited session time. If you want to rotate proxies, you can easily do that by using the 8000 port with your requests. This method will pick a random IP from your list and run a request through it.

Dedicated Datacenter Proxies purchased through self-service don’t require you to specify the country for requests. All you have to do is look at your proxy list, take note of the proxy port assigned to an IP located in your desired country, and then use this port to make a request.
However, if you’re using rotating proxies, you must add the country parameter in your request, coupled with the two-letter country code. This way, you’ll run a request with a random IP from the specified country pool. For instance, the below cURL code picks a random IP from the United States proxy pool:

Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies support HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 protocols. For example, to connect through an HTTPS protocol, you must specify this in your request by adding https:// to your entry point, like so: https://ddc.oxylabs.io:8001.
