Carl Miller is a technologist and writer. He is the founder of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media at Demos and the information integrity lab CASM Technology, and is the Chief Strategy Officer at the DISARM Foundation.
He is the author of The Death of the Gods: The New Global Power Grab, which won the 2019 Transmission Prize, and host of the podcast Kill List, which reached #1 in seven countries and won several honors, including the Guardian's Podcast of the Year and an Edward R. Murrow Award. He holds fellowships at King's College London, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, and RAND Europe, and sits on expert groups including RUSI's State Threats Task Force, Chatham House's AI and Society Taskforce, and the European Digital Media Observatory.
