Krishna Sood leads product legal, IP, and regulatory affairs at Black Forest Labs, the Freiburg-headquartered frontier AI model developer company behind the FLUX family of visual intelligence models. In this role, she oversees the company's global compliance strategy across the EU AI Act, GDPR, and US frameworks, alongside IP strategy, trust and safety policy, and product legal work spanning BFL's model releases.

Krishna has worked in the US, Europe and Australia and her 20 year career spans roles at Microsoft, A+E Networks, the BBC, Formula One and in private practice. Krishna's work sits at the intersection of cutting-edge generative AI and the legislative frameworks shaping its deployment, with a particular focus on copyright, data and open innovation. Krishna is a guest lecturer on copyright, data and AI, and an expert advisor to the EUIPO observatory and the Global Partnership on AI.
