2025 marked our 10th anniversary — and our fifth consecutive year publishing an Impact Report aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
In 2025, we balanced two priorities: building better tools for accessing public web data, and ensuring that access serves a broader purpose — from competitive intelligence to investigative journalism and beyond. Here's how that played out across innovation, social responsibility, and community.
At the core of Oxylabs is a commitment to democratizing access to public web data. In 2025, that mission took a significant step forward with the launch of Oxylabs AI Studio — a platform that lets anyone extract web data using natural language prompts.
The idea is simple: you shouldn't need to be a developer to harness the power of web intelligence. Whether it's the AI-Crawler navigating websites from a single URL or the Browser Agent automating web tasks through plain English instructions, these tools bring sophisticated data collection within everyone's reach.
From strategic acquisitions to intellectual property, 2025 marked a year of growth. We welcomed ScrapingBee, a France-based scraping API trusted by developers worldwide, into the Oxylabs ecosystem. Meanwhile, our patent portfolio grew to 150, spanning the US, Europe, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mexico.
We also evolved our core tools. OxyCopilot now features auto-healing functionality that keeps data pipelines intact when websites change. The new Headless Browser became the first to support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), letting AI agents interact directly with the live web. And our Video Data API now handles multimodal data extraction at scale.
On trust and compliance, we achieved SOC 2 Type 1 certification, launched the Oxylabs Trust Center, and introduced an AI Governance Policy — because building powerful technology means building the guardrails to use it responsibly.
The same infrastructure we build for enterprise clients also supports missions that matter beyond business. Through Project 4β, our pro bono initiative, we provide web scraping solutions to investigative journalists, academic researchers, and nonprofits working on critical public interest issues.
In 2025, Project 4β expanded to 12 countries, welcoming partners like Follow the Money and Doublethink Lab. We continued working alongside Bellingcat, The Pulitzer Center, Debunk.org and other organizations on the front lines of disinformation research and accountability journalism.
This work earned recognition at the 5th Annual Anthem Awards, where Project 4β received both a Silver and the Community Voice Awards, voted by the public.
With nearly 200 new team members joining in 2025, our workforce grew to over 450 people across 20+ nationalities. Our employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) jumped from 47 in 2024 to 61 — a signal that the culture we're building resonates. Leadership NPS also rose year-over-year, from 57 to 62, reflecting growing trust in direct managers across the company.
We also introduced Oxylabs Leadership Principles, developed collaboratively with over 45 leaders across departments. These principles — from "Push Business Forward" to "Build Winning Teams" — now guide how we develop and evaluate leadership across the company.
Diversity and inclusion remained central to our efforts. Women make up nearly 40% of our workforce and 33% of management roles. We were named "Diversity Encouraging Company of the Year" at Lithuania's National Responsible Business Awards — recognition that reflects ongoing investment in accessibility, refugee internship programs, and community partnerships.
Learning is a crucial part of the culture. This year we introduced Sana — a Learning Management System where employees develop skills at their own pace, from product deep-dives to AI fundamentals. In 2025, employees averaged 13.9 training hours, with 71% attending at least one internal session. Add internal guilds, mentorship programs, and regular meet-ups on topics from creativity to tech trends, and you get a culture where knowledge flows freely across teams.
The future of web intelligence depends on a community that shares ethical standards and we're committed to building that community. In 2025, we hosted the 6th edition of OxyCon, our flagship web scraping conference, bringing together 4,420 attendees and 17 speakers from across the global data-gathering community.
We also continued contributing to education through partnerships with Women Go Tech, ISM University, Vilnius University, and others. From hackathons to job shadowing programs, these collaborations help nurture the next generation of tech talent — while keeping us connected to the communities around us.
That's just the highlights. Find the full report here.
